Annual Mark Sunday Lunch

Another very successful Sunday Lunch was held at the Assembly Hall, Melksham on Sunday 2nd October. This year the format was changed slightly and the hall was laid out with circular tables. All agreed this was improvement and that the hall looked extremely good.

The Brethren and their guests started to arrive at 12 noon for drinks and at 1 pm over 100 guests sat down to a very enjoyable meal prepared by new caterers Coleshill Catering of Swindon and Highworth.

The Provincial Grand Master was very pleased to welcome the Provincial Grand Master of Bristol R.W.Bro. John Platts and his wife Pauline, together with a large contingent from his Province, the Provincial Grand Master of Dyfed R.W.Bro. Gareth Hicks and his wife Janet, also the large number of ladies and friends present.

The raffle which was organised by W.Bro. Ian Gibson assisted by his wife Liz raised £535 towards the Wiltshire Mark Provincial Charity Fund.

The meal was organised by W.Bro. Steve Lee, assisted by his wife Diane and V.W.Bro. Paul Turner and his wife Joyce provided the Table Decorations. Very many thanks to them all.

All left having had a good time and with each of the ladies taking away a Cyclamen pot plant.
