Lansdowne Lodge of Mark Master Masons enjoyed welcoming the newest member of the Order – Bro. Dave Bristow – into the Lodge. This good cheer continued at the supper table with the splendid fare provided by our new caterers,
based just round the corner in Chippenham Town Centre.

In 2011 W. Bro Clive Greenwood(see photo) invited members of the Province of Wiltshire to attend their meeting of Installed Mark Masters, Temple Builders Lodge, in the District of Spain.

Following the most generous donation to Audrey and Martin Brown to celebrate their Golden Wedding Anniversary, they have now booked a holiday.
They will be going to Slovenia on a walking holiday, staying at the Grand Prisank Hotel in Kranjska Gora, set in the foot of the Julian Mountains.

23 active Officers and their ladies dined at the Masonic Hall, Devizes on Saturday 26th January, all agreed it was a most enjoyable evening, good food, good wine and very noisy and happy atmosphere.

The Mark Provincial Grand Master for Wiltshire, RW Bro Martin Brown, opened and chaired the presentations and was ably assisted by his deputy WBro John Bell. The governance of the Mark order and an overview of officers within a Mark lodge was eloquently explained as well as a potted history of the Mark degree from its early origins to the present day.

On Friday 26th April 2013 at the Installation meeting of the Wiltshire Installed Mark Masters Lodge No 1460 V.W. Bros Len Hayward CBE installed W.Bro Peter Sidnell into the chair of Adoniram. All went exceedingly well and the new officers were duly appointed by the new WM.

The 121st. Provincial Grand Lodge was held at The Assembly Rooms, Melksham on Thursday 20th June 2013. The days events started with lunch at Avon House. A total of 129 Brethren, which included honoured guests, visitors and Brethren of the Province, enjoyed a very light hearted lunch.

It is very good to report that Mary and John Bells skydive was successfully completed today Friday 28th June, after the delay due to bad weather on Sunday last. After preparation and instruction they took off from a small grass airfield near Wanborough, Swindon.
